On a sad note, we want to announce that Kim, our long time hygienist and dental assistant, will not be returning to our office after Memorial Day. Trying to juggle work, and home life with kids in different schools has been tough this year. With all of the changes in the world due to Covid, the summer schedule just became too difficult to make everything work. She decided that she needs to stay home and be mom for a while. We want to thank her for her years of service to everyone at our office. She will be dearly missed, but we know mom is a more important job than hygienist. We wish her nothing but the best in the near and distant future.
Along the same lines, this means that we will be having some changes in our office. You may see a new face the next time you come in to see us. We already have a new hygienist seeing patients a few days a week. We love her happy face and personality, and think she will be a welcome addition to our office. Before we do any formal introductions and announcements, we want to be sure she will be happy with us, and want to stay in our office going forward. It is important to have the right fit for everyone, and since we want to be sure she is happy with us as much as we are happy with her, we will hold off on formal introductions for now. But if you come in to see us soon, you may meet her. So, we hope to have a blog post and announcement in the near future to welcome her more officially.
Finally, June is generally a slower month in our office because people start to go on vacation. However, getting a cleaning in, or before June is important if you hope to get your two cleanings under insurance for the year. Remember that you need six months and one day between cleanings, so time is limited to get the first one in. Also remember that December always books up early, as well as the fact that there are more holidays in December which reduce office hours. Contact us now at 708-448-0273, through a link on this website, or via firstname.lastname@example.org so you can make your appointment…..and making one for December right now may not be a bad idea too. We hope to see you soon!
